Tiffin, the multi-layered platform for gastronomic experiences will be taking over all your favourite Chinatown F&B haunts to bring you the best flavours and for you to #REDISCOVERKL at the same time.

 

All participating outlets will have awesome promos on offer so make sure you’re there bright and early to get the freshest bites and sips of the weekend! Relax with a Durian Ice Blended at leaf & co. cafe and then head over to The Berlin KL for an underground party that’s gonna be 🔥🔥🔥 . If you’re feeling peckish after all the dancing, swing by The Attic for a BBQ Party and just chill.

Aku Café & Gallery
Take a stroll into Aku Café & Gallery and enjoy the tranquility along with a cup of aromatic coffee. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just someone who loves the arts, you’ll appreciate this quiet space to take things down a notch. Aku Café & Gallery is also home to culturally rich events from time to time so be on the lookout for music, art, and film exhibitions!
Chocha.foodstore
Chocha.foodstore brings simplicity to the table with the aim of getting people to sit down and enjoy a drink or two together. Their selection of wine, specialty teas, and delicious food that is locally sourced are what keeps people coming back. Exclusively for the Urbanscapes Menu, Chocha.foodstore will be serving up their Chicken Yak with Turmeric Cream, don’t miss out! 
Hoppers KL
Managed by sisters Sugania & Nishalni Naidu, Hoppers offers South Indian and Sri Lankan dishes with a Malaysian touch. The attention to detail in their dishes result in some of the most indisputably delicious flavours and just for the Urbanscapes Menu, they’ll be firing up the ovens for the exclusive Carrot Cake Hopper!
leaf & co. cafe

Tucked away in Mingle Kuala Lumpur, leaf & co. cafe offers a whole menu of delicious Western and Asian delicacies. You’ll find interesting cups of coffee like rose and coconut lattes and the popular Americano served in old-school kopitiam cups.

Drop by the Chinatown Chowdown Tea Party at leaf & co. cafe (6 & 7 May, 3pm – 6pm) and recharge for the night with 1 ‘Gourmet Tea’ & 1 type of Cake at RM20. If you’re looking sample something off the Urbanscapes Menu, try the Jln Tun HS Lee Limonade (Pink Limonade) and the Limonade (Lemongrass Limonade)!

Your search for comfort food comes to an end at Merchant’s Lane 美真林 where you’ll feel the charm of Kuala Lumpur’s past and current culture merge beautifully. Head over for a relaxing meal or try Merchant’s Lane 美真林’s exclusive Urbanscapes Menu item, The Virgin Dragon!
PS150
Situated in a pre-war shop, PS150 serves up cocktails with bold Southeast Asian flavours and is set to host the Petaling Street Warriors cocktail showdown (6 May, 9pm – late)!

The event will see PS150’s Angel Ng and guest bartender 28 Hong Kong Street’s Charmaine Thio go head to head as they whip up 5 drinks each to be crowned the winner.

PS150 will also be unveiling two new cocktails during the Urbanscapes weekend. One of them is The Red Fall which is a zesty vodka-based drink with spicy mango, pomegranate, and lemon bitters and the other is The Noble Mango, filled with rich rum, DOM Benedictine-based mango puree, egg yolk, and tiki bitters.

The Attic Bar

Hidden away in one of Chinatown’s hippest hotels, you’ll find yourself on an adventure from start to finish at The Attic Bar. Finish off your Chinatown Chowdown experience at The Attic Bar’s BBQ Party (7 May 2017, 6pm – 2am) for just RM10! It’s guaranteed to be a unique BBQ event with food prepared by the Travel Hub KL crew and The Attic Bar’s very own Massam Manis and Lychee Tuak available exclusively on the Urbanscapes Menu.

The Berlin KL


Hidden right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur is The Berlin KL. A chilled out bar that borrows its concept from the raw and edgy streets of Berlin also boasts graffiti on their walls as a reference to the iconic Berlin Wall.

Head over to The Berlin KL for Berlinscapes! (6 May 2016, 10pm – 2am) and kick off Chinatown Chowdown with Bad Mob (Bad KL) & Zul Amran as they spin Hip Hop, RnB, NuSkool, Trap, Grime all night long!

The Toast Co.

Nestled in a century’s old building next to Petaling Street, The Toast & Co. Café specialises in toast! Incredibly yummy toasts in fact. Pick from seven savouries and three sweet varieties from their list of other homestyle meals.

Just for Urbanscapes, you’ll get to sink your teeth into their Yasmin Ahmad Toast and  Dato’ Nicol David Toast! If you have trouble deciding which to have, just order both 😉

Yum Cha Cafe
At Yum Cha you’ll find yourself in the heart of Jalan Petaling enjoying their array of very affordable but good quality tea and coffee along with a satisfying mix of western and local cuisine. This is definitely a place to enjoy with a group of friends so bring the whole squad!
Old China Cafe
As the name suggests, Old China Café takes the customer on a journey back in time in the form of their deco and dishes. Enjoy authentic Baba Nyonya food for a taste that blends Malay spices and Chinese ingredients perfectly!
Colony KL

Opened and operated by the sisters at Hoppers, Colony KL serves up a combination of Burmese, Sri Lankan, and Indian dishes with a solid Malaysian twist. If you’re looking for something different, Colony KL is where you should be!

Just for the Urbanscapes Menu, they’ve whipped up the thirst quenching Carrot and Nutmeg Lassi! There will be an alcoholic (with Whisky) and a non-alcoholic variation. Give it a go only at Chinatown Chowdown 🎉

Cafe etc
Located in the heart of Chinatown along Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, Cafe etc offers a uniquely comfortable ambience for those looking for a quick break from all the hustle and bustle outside. Take your pick from a variety of affordable western food, salads, desserts, and their locally roasted coffee. Remember to try their Latte in Cone which will be prepared by Cafe etc exclusively for Urbanscapes!

Cafe etc will also be hosting a Film Developing Workshop with Darkroom8 (6 & 7 May, 10am – 2pm). Guided by Yanheng Lee, you’ll learn how to develop black & white film followed by a scanning service! There’s a fee of RM80 which includes tools, equipment, and chemicals all provided by the conductor. All you need to do is bring your own negative films and at the end of the workshop you’ll go home with a soft and hard copy of your scanned films 😃

LOKL Coffee Co

LOKL Coffee Co takes pride in being local and there’s no better place to do so than at their spot on Jalan Tun H.S. Lee. The bright and airy space at LOKL serves up piping hot coffee and delicious weekly menu, Malaysian style!

Don’t miss out on their Urbanscapes Burger exclusively for the weekend! Accompanied by a plate of chips, the brioche buns are filled with charred 48-hour smoked brisket doused in barbecue sauce. YUUUUUMMMMM!
